This is always a good 1st night social for the year with many members meeting at the Cricketer’s Arms Hotel for a meal and new years catch up before heading off to the drive inn.
Some came for tea and the drive inn, some for tea only and others just turned up for a chat. No matter what it was, it was a good way to start the year off with friends.
While the author of this little piece did not stay for the movie, those that did seemed to enjoy it, but I didn’t know Brokeback Mountain was showing that night?
